WHERE DO NOT DISTURB HAS QUITE ANOTHER MEANING

Sitting at the heart of the South Downs National Park, surrounded by rolling downland, expanses of green, and ancient woodland, The Woodcote is located in one of the most peaceful parts of the county. Most rooms offer uninterrupted views across this timeless landscape and have been thoughtfully designed to blend seamlessly into the quiet idyll.

For guests wishing to bring their four-legged companions, we are delighted to now offer one dog-friendly room, ensuring every member of the family can enjoy The Woodcote’s countryside retreat.

EXPLORING
SUSSEX

The picturesque city of Chichester, with its renowned theatre, is half an hour away and the quaint towns of Petworth (home to the magnificent Petworth House and surrounding parkland) and Midhurst, each with their own selection of small independent shops, are both a short drive away.

Goodwood, just 11 miles away, is recognised for hosting some of the world’s most exciting motor sport and horseracing events, including the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival. Cowdray, 10 minutes away, offers a range of premium country pursuits, both to watch or take part in. And Arundel, with its castle set high on a hill, is the perfect day out. The coast, with its many seaside towns, villages and expansive beaches, is a 40 minute drive.

Sussex is home to more than 140 vineyards, and if you would like to find out more about our local wines, we can arrange a bespoke wine tour, including tutored tasting sessions and a lunch paired with some of the county’s most delicious wines.
